Twice a year, Our Redeemer hosts retreats at Koinonia—one in the winter and one in the summer. These retreats offer time for fun, relaxation, and fellowship, providing a break from the busyness of everyday life. With no set schedule, you are free to unwind in whatever way feels right for you—whether it’s reading a book by the fire, enjoying meaningful conversations, hiking scenic trails, tubing down snowy hills in the winter, or rafting along the Delaware River in the summer. Join us for a refreshing getaway where you can simply be with God and one another.
Retreats begin on Fridays at 4pm and ends after Lunch on Sunday. We are exploring the interest in future retreats being extended a night for those who desire to stay longer.

Located in the Catskill mountains about 2.5 hours from Seaford, Koinonia is situated on 1,200 acres of forest, with numerous facilities that offer opportunities to be surrounded by God’s creation. Koinonia (Koi-no-NEE-ah) is a New Testament Greek word meaning community, which is our primary focus of our retreats when we go as a church.

Conference Center
Much of the activity takes place in the Conference Center. The Conference Center has 20 motel style room, across two wings. Each room has at least two queen beds a piece, with some rooms having additional twin beds, along with a bathroom and showers in each room.
The two wings come together in a great room where we have our meals, do crafts, play games, puzzles, or relax or chat by the fire. There is an additional Agape Room where more activities can take place.
Meals are prepared by Koinonia Staff and we always make sure to have a well-stocked community snack table.
Activities
Our retreats offer a variety of activities that change with the seasons. In the summer, you can enjoy a calm rafting trip down the Delaware River. During the winter, if conditions allow, we go snow tubing down a large hill at Koinonia.
Weekends are kept flexible, allowing attendees to choose their own activities. Whether you prefer hiking, relaxing by a campfire, solving puzzles, engaging in conversations, or simply taking a nap, the choice is yours. Koinonia camp staff can also organize various opportunities, and everyone is encouraged to bring games, crafts, or activities to share. Koinonia has many trails, a lake, fishing, boating, etc. Plenty to do to enjoy God's creation.
There is no fixed schedule, giving you the freedom to join in as you wish. In the evenings, we come together for fellowship and enjoy group games like Jeopardy or Family Feud, which are always a hit.
Click the link to go to our registration page. You will need to register each person staying in the room. The cost for the first attendee includes the room and cleaning fees. For each additional person, click "Add Attendee" and the additional costs will be based on age.
The retreat cost covers two nights (Friday and Saturday) and five meals per person (Saturday: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner; Sunday: Breakfast and Lunch). If you are interested in adding a third night and staying over Sunday, please select "3 nights" when registering. If enough people choose this option, we can arrange meals with the camp or on our own.
Check in is 4pm Friday and Check out is 1pm Sunday (or Monday)
If you register early enough, you will have the option to split the payment over 2 or 3 months prior to the retreat.
