Baptism is an outward sign of God's grace and love shared with us. The rite of Baptism takes place during our 9:30am worship on Sunday mornings where God's love for the baptized is expressed and the parents of the baptized (or the baptized themselves if they are of age) make promises to live in faith in repsonse to God's love.
If you are interested in being baptized at ORLC or you are interested in having your child baptized we are exicted to be a part of this journey with you. If you've never worshipped with us before, we welcome you to join us for worship on Sundays at 9:30am. Please introduce yourself to Pastor John and he would be happy to scheudle a time to discuss the next steps to plan the baptism. You cna also contact us at 516-781-6374 or office@ourredeemerlutheran.church to inquire more about baptism. Pastor John will then follow up to schedule a time to meet prior to the Baptism. Please note that most Sundays are a good time to scheudle a baptism, with the exception being refraining from baptizing during the season of Lent.
