Our Redeemer Nursery School provides a quality pre-school education in a loving Christian environment.
Our goal is to provide children 2 1/2 years - Pre-K, with experiences to help them meet the following needs in their lives:
Physical, Cognitive, Emotional, Social and Spiritual.
Children graduate from our program well prepared for Kindergarten.
Our approach to learning is a developmental one where the students learn by experiencing
and experimenting using a child-centered "hands-on" approach.

*Potty training is NOT required for Play Group but a parent will be called for a soiled diaper.
(Age 3 by December 1st of your currently enrolled school year)
Note: All children must be toilet trained and wearing underwear (No Pull-ups please!)

Our Redeemer’s 2026 Summer Fun Program is for children ages 3, (by December 1, 2026) 4, & 5 (entering kindergarten). Summer Fun is a five-week educational and fun program. Summer Fun will provide a nurturing environment with fun-filled weekly themes to inspire the curiosity of the children in a warm, Christian atmosphere. All of our program activities take place at Our Redeemer in the company of friends old and new:

Week 1: July 7,8,9 - Let’s Go Camping! Little campers will enjoy camping inspired literature such as A Camping Spree With Mr. Magee by Chris Van Dusen while learning all about forest animals and their habitats. They will have such a blast at our classroom camp-out that they will be asking for “s’more”!
Week 2: July 14,15,16 - Busy Buzzy Bumblebees! This summer, our busy bees will buzz into a world of wonder with our Bumblebee Adventure. Through playful activities, cool crafts, and nature exploration, children will discover the fascinating life of bumblebees while building curiosity, creativity, and teamwork.
Week 3: July 21,22,23 - Down To the Sea! Set sail on a summer journey as we explore the wonders of the seaside. Beach inspired literature such as Down To the Sea, With Mr. Magee By Chris Van Dusen will have our little ones diving into a world of sandy shores and sea creatures. Through hands-on activities, songs, stories, and creative play, children will discover the beauty and mystery of life under and around the sea.
Week 4: July 28,29,30 - Toad-ally Awesome Frogs! Get ready to hop into a summer of fun with our Frog-Tastic Adventure. 🐸 This playful theme invites preschoolers to explore the fascinating fiction and non-fiction world of frogs through science, literature, music & movement, creative crafts, and more.
Week 5: August 4,5,6 - Move, Jump, Play! Our Fitness Fun Week will feature Doreen Cronin and Scott Menchin literature series, Bounce, Stretch and Wiggle. We will get our campers moving with playful activities like obstacle courses, animal-inspired games, dance parties, and simple yoga. Each day offers a new adventure that builds strength, balance, and teamwork—while keeping the focus on fun.
Our Redeemer is a New York State Registered Pre-School and licensed with the New York State Office of Children and Family Services. We adhere to all of their standards and regulations. Our Teachers are certified and all staff are CPR certified, as well. We are located between Sunrise Highway and Merrick Road, just south of Seaford Train Station. Our location makes us ideal for children living in Seaford, Bellmore, Wantagh, Massapequa, and Massapequa Park.
